Alternate Apparel is an independent clothing label originating from the south coast of England, established in 2016.ย
Our collections are structured as concise three piece releases, focusing on high grade garments and prints across apparel such as t-shirts, jumpers, hoodies and caps. Each release is cohesive by design, with equal attention given to form, detail and construction.
Positioned between design, art and identity, the work is shaped by elements of pop culture and its surrounding environment filtered, reworked and made its own. It moves beyond the structure of a conventional branding, rejecting formulaic design and overused aesthetics in favour of pieces with clear personality and direction. Nothing is made to be generic, and nothing is made without purpose.
